ABOUT

Jillian Dahl is an artist based in Gainesville, Florida where they are currently completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art at the University of Florida. While primarily working in ceramics, Dahl incorporates photography as a key medium in their practice; using photography as a way to capture and explore their body in 2D before recreating the forms in clay.

They are currently co-president of HOT Clay at UF and regularly manage atmospheric firings; revitalizing both the club and the interest in atmospheric firings at the University. Dahl has also received nominations for programs such as the ASPN Residency from Red Lodge Clay Center and the Windgate-Lamar Fellowship from the Center for Craft.
